Position Summary:
Maintenance Support responsibilities include the following providing for the care, cleanliness, minor repair and maintenance of the institution’s buildings and grounds. This employee strives to advance the University’s mission through the appearance and upkeep of the University’s facilities. Employee must pass pre-employment physical and background investigation.
Essential Functions:
1. Responds to work order requests regarding the upkeep and maintenance of the campus’s facilities.
2. Participates in the regular mowing, lawn care and landscaping.
3. Regularly polices and cleans campus grounds.
4. Assists in special projects related to facilities and grounds.
5. Occasional assistance will be provided to housekeeping.
Other responsibilities:
1. Performs other related duties as assigned.
2. Participates in campus activities.
Education, experience, & skills required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
2. Strong work ethic.
3. Positive and respectful attitude.
4. Physically capable of lifting 40 lbs. and walking the necessary distance around campus to perform duties.
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently.
