Q. When should my son/daughter visit the Career Center?
A. Your student is encouraged to visit the Career Center at any stage of their career preparation. Each decision about your student's career plan is important and we are here to help.

Q. What should my student do throughout the undergraduate years to prepare for his/her future?
A. Each student is unique in preparing for his/her future. However, we have created a student checklist that is available for students to review under the "For Student" section of the career services website.

Q. Who does my son/daughter contact for employment during the school year?
A. Our office provides assistance to any students wanting employment during the school year. Job openings are posted around campus and online. However, if your child is looking for work-study employment they need to contact the office of financial aid.

Q. What preparation is there for resume writing and interviewing?
A. Each student can utilize the Career Center for help with writing a resume and interviewing skills. Services available for students can be found under the "For Students" section of the Career Services website.

Q. Will you guarantee my son/daughter a job after graduation?
A. No, we will however, equip your child with the tools necessary to successfully search, apply, and seek employment.

Q. Who hires/recruits USW graduates?
A. Employers from numerous parts of the United States and over seas recruit and hire USW graduates. Employers recruit our students by utilizing our on-campus bulletin boards and our website.
