Office of Special Services

The Office of Special Services at University of the Southwest is directed by Jose Tarin-Valdez. This office exists to assist students who have documented disabilities as they pursue their educational goals.

To be eligible for services, students MUST disclose their disability to appropriate faculty and staff at University of the Southwest and provide the appropriate documentation to the Office of Special Services.

575-492-2140 or to make an appointment. If students do not have the required documentation of disabilities but believe they may have undiagnosed disabilities, they may contact the Office of Special Services to discuss evaluation options.
