Campus Ministry

University of the Southwest offers several opportunities on campus for our students to develop their spiritual lives. Each week of the Fall and Spring Semesters, our campus pastor works with student ministry teams to coordinate our L.I.F.E. Mid-Week Chapel Service. Our student-athletes can participate in weekly meetings and Bible studies as part of our chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic faith can participate in our Catholic Student Association.

Community Worship Opportunities

From its beginning, University of the Southwest has enjoyed a strong tie with the community of Hobbs, as well as other surrounding cities and towns. Central among our community interests is the desire to assist students in locating a place of worship.

Additional Worship and Ministry Opportunities
University of the Southwest is continually seeking ways to further develop and enhance its Christian Life programming on campus. The interests and needs of students serve as an impetus for current and future programming. Southwest's Praise Team and mission trips all serve as opportunities for Southwest students, faculty, and staff to join together for corporate worship and ministry. Coming ministry opportunities include international mission trips, traveling ministry teams, and increased worship opportunities on campus. All students are invited and encouraged not only to attend these events, but also to become involved in ministry and worship opportunities.
