Undergraduate Programs

The School of Education offers several degree options for undergraduate students.  For those students interested in becoming a teacher, our Teacher Education Program offers preparation at the elementary, middle, and secondary levels.  The program offers a variety of content areas and grade levels to choose from to fit your specific interests and strengths:

Elementary Education (Grades K-8)
Secondary Education (Grades 7-12)
Special Education (Grades K-12)

Once you choose the grade level you are interested in teaching, you may select teaching fields/endorsements (minor) from the following academic content areas:

  • Bilingual
  • General Science
  • Language Arts
  • Mathematics
  • Physical Education
  • Psychology (Elementary and Special Education)
  • Social Science

Students interested in the field of health, nutrition, fitness, and exercise can opt for the kinesiology degree.  This is a non-licensure field for those students not wanting to enter the field of education.
