On February 8th, 2023, the University of the Southwest received a contribution totaling almost $26,000 from Touchstone Golf. With offices in Oakland, California, and Austin, Texas, Touchstone Golf is a recognized leader in the golf course management industry. Touchstone provides comprehensive advisory and management services to golf course owners and municipalities. The company manages a wide range of properties nationwide, from municipal courses to exclusive private and resort clubs. USW was selected as a beneficiary of multiple tournaments held at courses managed by Touchstone. Reflecting upon how the gift might support USW students, Touchstone representative and General Manager of the Colonial Park Golf Course, Keaton Aucutt, highlighted the importance of supporting local institutions.
