Lea County Community Prayer Breakfast November 16th

This year’s Lea Community Prayer Breakfast will take place on Thursday, November 16 at 6:00-7:30 a.m. at University of the Southwest’s Maddox Student Life Center.  People of ALL religious backgrounds are invited to attend as we pray for our communities and nation, active military, church leaders, public schools, educators, colleges, firefighters, law enforcement, community and national leaders, media, medical professionals, senior citizens, youth, veterans, families and more.

The keynote speaker will be David Shaw, CEO of Nor-Lea Hospital District in Lovington, speaking on the subject of “Making the Connection:  Where Faith and Life Intersect”.  Music will be provided by the Christian Center Quartet.  A full breakfast will be served beginning at 6:00 a.m. and the program will begin at 6:30 a.m.

Tickets are $3.00 per person and are available at local churches, Forrest Tire in Hobbs and Lovington, Marshall Furniture in Lovington, Hobbs Municipal Schools Central Office, University of the Southwest Business Office and at the door the morning of the event.

The Lea County Community Prayer Breakfast is sponsored by many faithful individuals and companies in Lea County who believe in the importance of this event.  Sponsorships to help with costs associated with the event are still available for a minimum of $250.
