The Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at USW leads to licensing for teachers who choose to work with children Birth through 3rd grade. The Elementary teaching license for K-8 is slowly being phased out by the State, to be replaced by the Early Childhood license and a Middle grades license. An Associates from an accredited Junior College in Early Childhood Education is required to enter this program or students may be registered in both the JC courses as well as the Bachelor's level courses at USW.
The Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education at USW can be obtained in 18 months and is totally on-line for optimal convenience.
