Located in Hobbs, New Mexico, USW is a dynamic and growing independent college. The School of Education (SOE) has established a tradition of excellence in its service to a diverse population - teaching of both undergraduate and graduate students. Students who graduate from the teacher education program at USW are recognized and sought after for their quality preparation. The SOE is in the process of increasing access through distance education and collaborative partnerships with school districts and other institutions of higher learning.
